Hi Joseph. I have a C8 torch red LT one. I know you have the Z06 side rocker and carbon flash, but are you able to paint it in the colour of my car which is torch red ?

I have a 2023 Z51 and it doesn't have any rocker moldings from the factory....and from what I've seen most don't. That must just be a GM accessory they added on when it was built. Unless there was some certain year they put it on as part of the Z51 package. So most people I don't think will need to drill out any rivets....but they will have to drill fresh holes.

I liked them and a bunch of ACS's other products but they seriously missed the mark on pricing.

Cool mod, however junk. I bought one put it on and it peels away from the class in no time. Took it off today. Not worth the money!!!

I'm about to perform this on my 2018 Corvette Grand sport, wondering if I'll get any surprises from factory sealant perhaps waiting underneath? I shredded the right side stock rocker and yes I'm pretty sick about it. New ones on the way, but I have to get this thing off, it looks like a dead seagull hanging off the side. Any factory adhesive to worry about?

By adding this $1,300 grill to the Z06, are you just gaining the 2 small LED strips, or am I misunderstanding something?

How would you remove the license plate if necessary?

Not sure how they justify asking almost double the asking price compared to their competitors. The product seemed like it was masked off and sprayed with a rattle can as they don’t even paint the entire panel you can see the tape line from plastic to paint. My set had so many scuffs/scratches on the inner portion. Would not buy again or recommend.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I installed my side skirts this past weekend. Half way through I went to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap pneumatic rivet gun. World of difference lol. This was way easier than I thought it would be. I admit I bought cheap EBay skirts first but never even tried to install. Ordered yours and they are so much better. The pre drilled holes make it so easy. I was by myself. Used clamps for driver side but just the 7mm screws to line up passenger side. Worked perfectly. Love the look. Thanks!

I tried using rivets on my side skirts after drilling 3/16" holes on the underside, but they wouldn't pop!! Ended up cutting off the rivet stem and drilling it off. What did I do wrong?

I do believe the deflectors that are in front of the tires (and across the mid section on Z06) are to deflect the air around the tires for better handling, not fuel efficiency.

Will you be going to Carlisle in August? If so, will you be offering the installation of this new grill? You've installed other ACS components at Carlisle in the past, which is why I asked. Great upgrade, BTW...

Nice product, but man, it is extremely expensive, Paragon also has great products and their's are about $200 cheaper, Joseph, you need to chill on the prices. 🙂

I'd use red Loctite 721 on those just to be secure

So many cool mods for the C8. Folks can really customize their car and that's what it is about.

I learned from everybody else’s mistakes, that ACS are simply the best in all of these composite pieces. That’s why they’re a little higher priced, but their factory quality or better. There are no better composites on the market. Promise!
